Blueair Limited Warranty
Blueair Inc., for itself and its related companies (collectively, “Blueair”), warrants (the “Limited Warranty”) that your Blueair unit will be free from defects in material or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase, provided that you have maintained and cared for the Blueair unit according to the Blueair Product Manual. Within the first sixty (60) days from date of purchase, Blueair will replace a defective unit at no charge to you. After sixty (60) days, Blueair’s obligation and liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at our sole discretion) a defective unit.
What this limited warranty covers/does not cover
The Limited Warranty only covers normal household use. This Limited Warranty does not cover any Blueair unit that has been subjected to abuse, misuse, improper maintenance (including a failure to replace filters with original Blueair replacement filters or filters of the same quality) or operation. The Limited Warranty does not cover the replacement of filters.This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
In order to return a Blueair unit pursuant to this Limited Warranty, you should first contact Blueair Customer Service at 888-258-3247, between 9:00AM and 4:30PM CT, Monday through Friday, or by email at INFO@Blueair.com, to request a Return Authorization Number (RA#). You must include the RA# on the return package. Returns without an RA#, or with an unauthorized or missing RA#, will be refused by Blueair and will be returned to you at your expense. RETURNS RECEIVED 30 DAYS OR MORE AFTER THE RA# ISSUE DATE MAY BE REFUSED AND RETURNED AT SENDER’S EXPENSE. You are responsible for all shipping, handling, and processing costs on returned Blueair units. Along with the RA#, when you contact Blueair Customer Service, you will receive the location where you should send your Blueair unit. Returns must be shipped by verifiable tracking number (FedEx, UPS, or USPS Priority) to that location.
The following must be included in the return:
a) Order Number, Return Authorization Number (RA#), name, address, zip code, phone number, e-mail address and original packing slip (if purchased online). If purchased at retail, please include the original receipt.
b) Put the RA# on the package. If there is no RA# on the package, the Blueair unit will be returned to you at your expense.
c) Detailed explanation as to the reason for your return of the Blueair unit.
d) The Blueair unit must be packed in its original carton with the original packing materials.
Additional Return Terms and Conditions
All Blueair units must be returned in the original packaging, including all accessories and the user manual.
Any shipping, handling and processing costs are non-refundable.
Refunds on authorized returned units will be processed within thirty (30) days of receipt at Blueair Returns Center. You must be able to provide Proof of Delivery (POD) that returned product was actually received by Blueair Returns Center. If Blueair is unable to identify that it received the returned Blueair unit, and you cannot provide proof of such, Blueair will not be liable for any Blueair unit repair, replacement, or refund.
Extended 5-Year Limited Warranty Registration
You can extend your Limited 1-year Warranty to 5 years by completing the enclosed extended warranty application, or go online at www.blueair.com, or contact Blueair Customer Service toll free at 888-258-3247, Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM CT, or by email at INFO@Blueair.com.
Limitation or liability and remedies
Any implied warranties under this Limited Warranty are provided by Blueair only for the duration of this Limited Warranty, after which Blueair expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
BLUEAIR’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY INCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE SALE AND/OR USE OF THE BLUEAIR UNIT, AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AGAINST BLUEAIR UNDER ANY WARRANTY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AT BLUEAIR’S OPTION, OF THE BLUEAIR UNIT NOT CONFORMING TO THE WARRANTY.THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF BLUEAIR SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO BLUEAIR FOR THE BLUEAIR UNIT. THIS LIMITATION OF REMEDY IS INTENDED BY THE PARTIES TO SURVIVE EVEN IF THE REMEDY IS CLAIMED TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. YOUR FULL AND COMPLETE PERFORMANCE OF ALL OBLIGATIONS RECITED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO BLUEAIR’S WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITIES HEREIN.
IN NO EVENT SHALL BLUEAIR BE LIABLE TO YOU, OR YOUR ASSIGNS OR AGENTS, FOR ECONOMIC LOSS, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, FAILURE TO MEET YOUR SALES CONTRACTS, OR DEFECTS IN YOUR MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or a limitation on implied warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
